Our Services

We specialize in helping people relocating internationally to Charlotte. One of the biggest things to keep in mind when moving to Charlotte is patience. The city has grown at a tremendous rate and at any given time there might not be many 'ready-to-go' options when it comes to properties to rent or buy. However, like us, I am sure you want to move here and attempt to live your version of the American Dream! Which means often staying in one of the many, convenient furnished apartments for a few months is a much better decision than rushing and taking the first thing you see! As a boutique Charlotte relocation and moving service, we have a very clear offering.

We bet these are some of the key questions you have about Charlotte?

  1. What should I do in my first week in Charlotte?
  2. Should I rent before buying, and how long should I wait?
  3. Which area of Charlotte works best for me based on my needs/family?
  4. Can I drive on my UK license when I first arrive, and how do I get a NC license?
  5. Is Charlotte walkable, or do I really need a car?
  6. Why doesn't my UK credit history transfer, and how do I build a US credit score?
  7. My kids love sports, what are the options here?
  8. How does the Charlotte-Mecklenburg school system work?
  9. What's the difference between public, charter, and private schools?
  10. How do school zones work, and does it affect where I should live?
  11. Where can I buy British food in Charlotte?
  12. Where can I watch Premier League football and rugby in Charlotte?
  13. Are there British expat groups or social clubs in Charlotte?
  14. Is homesickness normal, and how do other expats handle it?
  15. What are the things people wish they'd known before moving to Charlotte?

Plus many more we missed, right? That's exactly why we are here and we can't wait to work with you on this journey.

What we don’t offer:

  • Any legal or immigration services (but we have somebody we can recommend who works with ex-pats).
  • Real Estate services for renting or purchasing properties (but we have somebody we can recommend who works with ex-pats). We are happy to visit properties with us if you would like.
  • Tax support and advice (but we have somebody we can recommend who works with ex-pats).
  • Act as a proxy for you to set up utility bills or other services.

All services are completely impartial and are not associated with any clubs or businesses. We will consult with you on everything and anything, but the final decisions will always be down to you.
